   Monica Callaghan (Director)

Hi my name is Monica Callaghan.  I grew up in small community on the Beautiful Island of Cape Breton, NS.  In 1993 I moved to Fredericton to continue my education and in 1995 I received my Medical Office Assistant Certificate.  After a couple of years working at New Brunswick Training Center  I began working for an amazing Doctor and her family as their Nanny for a many years.  I met my wonderful husband in 1997 and 1 year later we moved to Miramichi, NB where my husband worked at New Brunswick Youth Center.  At that point in time, we decided that I would stay at home and raise my then 3 yr old step son while continuing my education through correspondence.  In 1999 I received my Child Daycare Management Diploma and decided to operate a home daycare for 7 years before venturing out into the workforce.  In 2008, we returned back to Fredericton and once again, I went back to school to obtain my Early Childhood Education/Teacher's Assistant Certification.  I graduated with honours from Atlantic Business College in 2009 and gained employment with Adventureland Daycare as the Director.

       Jessica Haines (4's Educator)

Hi my name is Jessica Haines.  I was born and raised in the country, where I still reside with my amazing husband and 3 beautiful children.  I began working at Adventureland Daycare in September 2012 and since then I have had the pleasure of working with the 4 year olds.  I love working with children and watching them grow friendships, develop a fun filled environment to play in and reach different milestones.  It is one of the most rewarding parts of job.  I have received the New Brunswick Early Learning and child care curriculum framework certification in 2009 and plan on completing the Early Childhood Education Program in the New Year.

Stephanie Steeves (2's Educator)

Hi, my name is Stephanie Steeves. I'm the mother of two beautiful children, and reside here in the Fredericton Area. I've graduated as a Pharmacy Technician in 2007, but it was in 2008 that I began working in the daycare setting and realized that I felt more passionate about this particular calling. In 2009, I received my NB Curriculum Framework Certificate and have stayed working in the childcare area ever since. I'm also a very strong advocate for helping others within our communities (and encouraging my children to do the same) and have been very fluent in doing different fundraising endeavors for children going to the IWK, for our city and surrounding areas, etc. I hope to bring all of these qualities and skills towards the team here at Adventureland. I'm the 2 Year Old Educator, and I look forward to planning fabulous adventures with your children, helping them to learn and grow as they take on the world around them.
